Location

The Red Lion Hotel resides in the charming, rural, hilltop town of Chulmleigh. As a hotel, bar, and restaurant, The Red Lion provides great value gastropub grub, alongside a range of beers, local ales, and wines.

Offering comfortable accommodation, it is a fitting base for exploring the beautiful North Devon countryside with many walks around Chulmleigh, the Taw Valley, and the Tarka Trail. Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are excellent for those beautiful moor walks, or perhaps a walk along the North Devon coastline to end the day with seaside ice cream. Visit our Regional Centres of Exeter and Barnstaple with shopping centres to feed all obsessions. All of these ventures are within a short car journey.
